Super Falcons’ legend Perpetua Nkwocha marries in Owerri

Perpetua Nkwocha, one of the heroines of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, is now a married woman.

Perpetual, who was joined in holy matrimony with her husband, Ernest Ikechukwu Nwufor in Owerri on Monday, was elated to have left spinsterhood.

The holy matrimony, which took place at  Our Lady Carmel Catholic Church, Emekuku, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, had in attendance Nigerian football stakeholders, family members and friends of the couple.

The reception, which held at the  bride’s family compound, also drew large attendance.

The bride, had had a successful career with the Super Falcons featuring in Seven African Women Championships (AWC), winning gold in five editions (2002, 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2014).

She is presently an assistant coach with the Super Falcons. She is currently an assistant coach with the Super Falcons team.
