The University of Port Harcourt through it’s Centre For Information and Telecommunication Engineering honoured the DG of NITDA with an award of Excellence for his undeniable Impacts, resounding achievement in driving digital innovations and transformation in Nigeria.
The award was announced during the celebration of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day held May 17, 2024 while the award was presented to the DG on August 19, 2024 at the agency’s headquarters by Professor Bourdillon Omijeh, Director of Centre for Information and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Port Harcourt. This he did on behalf of the vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt, Prof Owunari Georgewill.
