Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatal Owoseni on Friday disclosed that 11 trans-border armed robbers have been killed while ammunition and other items were also recovered from them.
The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), gave details of how Senate President, Bukola Saraki allegedly looted
Kwara State while he served as the state’s governor between 2003 and 2011.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division Nigeria Army, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, disclosed that in their operations focusing on an anti-cattle rustling and armed banditry within the north west zone, no fewer than 35 armed bandits have been killed while 38 of them have been arrested and handed over to the police in the various states of their arrest.
Ahead of the River State re-run elections, the topmost contending parties, the PDP and APC in the state,
have continued to accuse each other of
distributing fake military uniforms to different parts of the State, in order to rig the elections on Saturday.
Another soldier was reportedly killed in an ambush in River State barely 24 hours to the re-run election.
The remains of the late Minister of State (Labour), Mr. James Ocholi SAN, his wife and son were laid to rest in his home Dekina Local Government of Kogi State amidst tears.
