Retail Investors’ Workshop And Closing Gong Ceremony In Commemoration Of The IOSCO World Investor Week 2024

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NSX), in partnership with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), yesterday hosted a Retail Investors’ Workshop and Closing Gong Ceremony to commemorate the IOSCO World Investor Week (WIIW) 2024.

The event aimed to promote investor education, protection, and financial literacy among retail investors. Industry experts led interactive sessions on investment strategies, risk management, and market trends.

The SEC and NGX remains committed to empowering retail investors with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed investment decisions,” said the Director General SEC, Dr. Agama Emomotimi.

The Closing Gong Ceremony marked the end of WIIW 2024, a global initiative promoting investor protection and education.
