Qhemmy’s New Single, ‘Go and Glow’ Debuts As First Song Release In 2026

Beautiful, confident and stylishly energetic QHEMMY, full name Oluwakemi Onasanya – one of Nigeria’s most versatile Gospel singers – dropped her latest hit song titled “Go and Glow: Holy Ghost Drill” just as the world shouted “Happy New Year 2026” and it is already trending on music and streaming platforms.

“I am so happy that so many people, some known and many unknown to me, are already downloading my new song and adding it to their social media posts. This is rewarding” QHEMMY told entertainment and music journalists in Lagos, Monday January 12.

The new song ‘Go and Glow: Holy Ghost Drill’ is an upbeat, urbane soulful R & B brain and body mover with a rich baseline and dancehall feel with rap, English and Yoruba rhymes.

Qhemmy released and dedicated her new song in the earliest minutes of 2026 during the CrossOver Service held at ShaddaiVille Ministries, Lagos. She is a multi-talented music maker, model, entrepreneur, broadcast journalist and on-air personality in Lagos.

Known for her uplifting style of gospel music, Qhemmy was born into a clergy family from Remoland in Ogun State, Nigeria. She started singing in church as the first daughtet of a pianist and choirmaster, now late.

She started her musical career decades ago. She has performed in and out of studio with notable Nigerian artistes like late Ras Kimono, Sunny Neji, Seyi Solagbade, Buchi, Alariwo, Toni Tetuila and Pasuma.

Qhemmy previously released songs like ‘Door Of Mercy’, ‘Yahweh’, ‘Benefactor’, ‘Breathe On Me’, ‘Kosoro’ and ‘Goodness of God’.

The beautifully talented QHEMMY dropped her latest hot single, ‘GO & GLOW: HOLY GHOST DRILL’ at CrossOver from December 31st to 1st January 2026,and it is available on all streaming platforms as well as click-able below.
