Many Nigerians are still talking about the last weekend death of a policeman who passed on in a hotel in Lagos suburb.
The policeman, Sergeant Jude Nwadudu, attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command, recently died in a hotel room after sex with his mistress.
Nwadudu, a father of four, died in hotel room around Iju-Ishaga, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to reports, the police officer had gone to the hotel with his mistress, a married woman, where he was later found dead.
Further reports revealed that the two lovers reside in same area and knew each other’s spouses.
On Saturday preceding the Easter Sunday, the lovers were at the hotel to have a nice time. After a sex romp, the officer went to use the bathroom where he was said to have collapsed.
It was not immediately known how the death came to being though another version revealed that the father of four went into the bathroom to freshen up, slipped on floor and hit his head on the tiles,
which prompted the mistress to raise the alarm.
The sergeant, whose married wife is also a policewoman, was rushed to a hospital, but referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos, where he eventually died on Easter Sunday.
Further report gave that the mistress was eventually let off the hook after a period of interrogation.
The deceased was described as a gentle man, respectful and dutiful officer. He was among the police team that battled cross-border armed robbers recently at Seme, during which operation, six suspected robbers were killed.
