The Venerable Charles Fakiyesi, Archdeacon Idi-Oro,Diocese of Lagos Mainland has called on Nigerians of shades and colour to use the opportunity of 2023 Elections to transform the Country into what the youths running away to Canada and other western part of the globe would like to return to in no distant future.
The Venerable who was preaching on the occasion of Nigeria should use the opportunity of 2023 Elections to Transform the Country 2022 Harvest Chapel of Christ The Light tagged “Harvest of Blessings of Going Forward”said that does who go forward are hardly trapped by the spirits of stagnancy or frustration.
The harvest and thanksgiving service was graced by Lagos State Governor ,Babatunde Sanwo-olu and his Wife who were represented by his Special Adviser on Religion,Adebukola Adeleke and his Wife,,Venerable of Harvest Chapel of Christ,Ezekiel Oluwadare, Reverend (Dr) Dele Ajayi, Chairman of Harvest Planning Committee,Chief Henry Olofingorite,Rev.Deji Koko etc.
According to the preacher it was the refusal of David,Joseph and Abraham and Moses in the Bible to bow to frustration that made them succeed as men of God,saying that every true man or woman of God shop be asking himself what is the next step.
Gov. Sanwo-Olu in his speech at urged Lagosians to pray for the peace co-existence of Lagos State and Nigeria as we go into the forthcoming federal elections,even as he enjoined them to ensure that they exercise their civic responsibility during the polls.
He posited that God is great and that with him being on our side there is no way that the state and country will not succeed going forward,hinting the we should never under-estimate the power of God.
Abike Sanwo-Olu on her part stressed the need for Nigerians to have faith in God despite the challenges we face currently in the country.
Fakiyesi going further told his listeners that to be able to go forward in life that should be on the righteous side of God,also the person should be deli gent and prayerful
