NAF To Induct New T-129 ATAK, Others In Makurdi

As the buffoonery of terrorists, bandits and kidnappers continue in some parts of the country, Nigerian Airforce’s determination to neutralize them have continued as the force will on Tuesday inducts newly acquired helicopters and aircraft.

The induction of T-129 ATAK helicopters and King Air 360i aircraft will be carried out by the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on 6th February, 2024 at the NAF Base, Makurdi, Benue State.

According to Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI), Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the President will be represented by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.

As a major boost to Nigeria’s national defense capability under the current dispensation, the new platforms would enhance NAF’s firepower as it jointly confronts the various security challenges in the country, alongside sister services and other security agencies.
