NAF Confirms Aircraft Crash Involving Attahiru Ibrahim In Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that an aircraft crashed near the Kaduna International Airport on Friday.

The force confirmed this in a statement by its Director of Public Relations and Information, Edward Gabkwet.

It tweeted, “An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details to follow soon.”

It was earlier reported that at least eight persons died in the crash.

It was also learnt that the Chief of Army Staff Attahiru Ibrahim, was among those that died in the crash.

The ill-fated Beachcraft 350 aircraft crashed at the airport’s runway about 6 pm.
