…recovers cache of arms and ammunition

Operatives of the Lagos state Police Command have arrested no fewer than 20 suspected criminals involved in armed robbery, cultism and kidnapping within the month of April 2026.

During the operation, the command recovered large cache of arms and ammunition during various raids of criminal hide outs across different locations in the state metropolis.

Also discovered was the body of a girl killed by her captors carefully concealed inside bag. It was gathered that the victim was killed by her captors after they had collected ransom from her parents and because she knows one of them they took the bad decision to snuff life out of her.

One the suspects who spoke to press on Wednesday during the parade confessed to the crime.

The commissioner of police Lagos Command, CP Fatai Tijani, who paraded the suspects on Wednesday at command headquarters said his men are determined to rid the state of criminals.
