Arrangements have been concluded for pupils and students in the Ward C, Oke-Ira Central area of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State to participate in a quiz competition to improve their academic performances.
Main organiser of the competition is the Councilor representing Ward C in Oke-Ira Central of Ojodu LCDA, Honourable Gbenga Opebi, who is bent on improving the academic performances of pupils and students in the area.
According to Opebi, the quiz competition, which is the maiden edition, is a deliberate effort to enhance the academic performance of the children in the area.
The event, scheduled to hold Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the Bethel Gemini Schools, Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos, at 10am, promises to draw participants and spectators from primary, junior secondary and senior secondary schools in Ward C of the Ojodu LCDA.
According to the organisers of the event, partners of the exercise include the Bisi Ogunjobi Foundation, May & Baker Pharmaceutecals, Soulmate Industries Limited and Nipen.
Others are Rev. and Rev. Mrs. Albert Aina, Pastor and Pastor Mrs. Alaba Olusemore and Deacon and Deaconess Remi Odufeko.
Schools in the Ward C area of the Oke-Ira Central are enjoined to participate and get their pupils and students exposed in order to better their academic performances and prepare them for future academic challenges.
