CAPOSTO 77/82 Forum Mandates Anniversary Planning Committe of C. A.C. Grammar School In Efon LGA Of Ekiti State To Put The Financial Reports Of The 40th Anniversary And Dayo Ogboja Sports Pavilion Together For Submission
The following forms the summary of the decisions taken after due deliberations:
The Anniversary Planning Committee of the Christ Apostolic Grammar School,( CAPSTO Grams) Efon Alaaye, in Efon LGA of Ekiti State has mandated the leadership of Chief Olaniyi Oke Olowoyeye of 1977/ ’82 set of the old students association of the school to completely put together the financial reports of both the 40th Anniversary of the Forum and that of the Chief Dayo Ogboja “sports Pavilion of the school and be submitted to the incumbent president of the Forum by the end of June 2023.

This was contained in a Communique issued at the end of “The CAPOSTO ’77/’82 Forum’s Executive meeting held in Ibadan,Oyo State on the 24th April, 2023,adding that a new bank account for the Forum shall be opened as soon as possible with Zenith Bank Plc.
According to the Communique, a copy of which was made available to National Wires in Minna, Niger State capital over the weekend, “With effect from January 2023, the annual due payable by each member of the Forum shall be N12,000 i.e. N1,000 per head every month.
4The Communique reads in parts that “By the grace of God, starting from January 2024, the amount to be given to each member who hosts any of the recognized events would be the present reviewed sum of N30,000 and no more N20,000”, stressing that only financial members would be beneficiaries henceforth, while any outstanding in this respect is to be paid as soon as possible.
It stated further that, starting from this year, the Forum shall begin to organize annual Christmas Carol service for the Staff and Students of our Alma mater, hilighting that, “this will effectively replace the valedictory service and prize giving day which we used to host. Modalities to be fine tuned in due course”.
“Forum’s general meetings will be rotated around the existing three branches every year with the annual general meeting holding in Efon Alaaye to fall within the time of the annual Christmas Carol service”, it further added.
The Communique however noted that “the Exco saw the importance of having the account of the Forum audited on yearly basis to engender transparency and therefore created the office of an internal Auditor within the Exco and also approved the appointment of Elder Akindele Akosile to fill the position, just as the Forum Congratulated Akosile over his new appointment .
It further emphasized that the Exco saw the need to accord certain members of the Forum special recognitions on account of their positions,saying, “in doing this it was guided by propriety and adherence to the provisions of our Constitution. As a result of this, such persons as our former Senior Prefect in the person of Mr. Taiwo Oni Smith in conjunction with former Senior Prefect Girl, in the person of former Miss Bosede Ilesanmi and all past Presidents including a Legal Luminary, Ex President,Dr. Adekunle Ojo( SAN) and Ex President, Mr. Lakan Michael Abanikannda, shall now be known as Ex-officio members, while Congratulating the former leaders over their recognition and elevations and for their various leadership roles in the Forum.
Consequently, the Communique stated that members were to take welfare of members as a matter of utmost importance by ensuring they check on fellow members from time to time and report to the Exco any matters needing special attention.
Never the less it said that, “Henceforth, every office holder in the Forum should act within the limits of their respective offices and not encroach on those of others so as to ensure harmony in our midst”.
Meanwhile, the next general meeting of the Forum has been slated to hold in Ibadan on 29th July, 2023 and with Ibadan branch playing the host.

The Director General, Nigerian Army Finance Corporation (NAFIC), Major General JE Osifo, has urged troops of 81 Division to take advantage of the various welfare schemes established by the Nigerian Army for its personnel.
