Governor Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Ondo Executive Council

Barely one month in office, the Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

With this development, all Cabinet members are required to promptly hand over their responsibilities to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers within their respective offices.

Furthermore, the Governor has relieved all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) of their duties, effective immediately. The affected officials are instructed to ensure the swift handover of all government properties in their possession.

The Governor expressed gratitude to the outgoing officials, acknowledging their dedicated services and valuable contributions to the development of the State.

This dissolution marks a strategic step by the Governor to reshape the administrative landscape and further enhance governance in Ondo State.
