In what appears to be a season of anomie for Fulani herdsmen has led to the brutal murder of an Inspector of Police, David Osasona Adebayo.I

He was gruesomely murdered by the herdsmen who were dressed in military uniform at Ehor, along Benin/Auchi Express road, Edo State on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020 while on duty.

The late Inspector, until his untimely death, was the police orderly attached to the Executive Chairman, Esan South East Local Government Council.

It was learnt that the Fulani bandits who were on military attires had flashed down the vehicle under the protection of the late cop but as a police officer, he decided to identify himself despite being even on police uniform.

Unfortunately, it was gathered, the mindless, disguised armed bandits opened gun fire on him, killing him and the driver on the spot and made away with his official AK-47 multipurpose assault rifle.

In a tribute, the Special Assistant to Executive Chairman on
Publicity and New Media, Ehikioya Agboga, described the late Inspector David Osasona as a “gentleman with humane disposition to issues.

He is survived by his wife and three lovely kids among whom is a-three-month old Baby
