As part of the global celebration of World Youth Skills Day 2025, De’rayo Empowerment Foundation is set to empower 400 Nigerian youths with life-changing vocational skills through a six-month free scholarship programme.
The initiative aims to bridge the skills gap among young people and provide a platform for personal growth and economic independence.
The event is scheduled to take place on July 15, 2025, at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, and will feature hands-on training opportunities across various vocations.
Youths who participate in the program will not only receive practical skills training but also mentorship and empowerment support to prepare them for future opportunities.
“This initiative is designed to ignite the passion of our youth and help them build a strong foundation for a prosperous future,” said De’rayo Animashaun, founder of the organisaton.
Animashaun continued that, “We believe in the power of skills, and this is our way of contributing to youth development and national progress.”
With the theme of self-discovery and growth, De’rayo Empowerment Foundation encourages young people from all walks of life to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
The free training will focus on practical, in-demand skills that can be turned into income-generating ventures or careers.
