Nigeria’s Technology-driven Credit Rating Agency (CRA), DataPro, has announced March 26, 2026, as the date for its annual virtual training for media practitioners.
The training aims to equip media professionals with a practical understanding of how AI tools are reshaping financial reporting and analysis.
Speaking on the theme “Reporting Financial Analysis in the Age of AI”, DataPro’s Executive Director/Chief Rating Officer, Mr. Oladele Adeoye, emphasized that financial reporting is no longer just about numbers, but about trust, transparency, and communicating dynamic data in ways that empower society.
The training is part of DataPro’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, conceived in 2021 to increase awareness about the value propositions of the Credit Rating Industry. Participants from the print and electronic media, editors of publications in the capital market, financial analysts, communication officers, and financial industry influencers are expected to attend the virtual program.
DataPro, regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), also organizes the International Credit Rating Webinar annually every October to promote the Rating industry.
The upcoming training is expected to enhance media practitioners’ skills in interpreting and communicating financial data, ultimately contributing to a more informed investing public.
