While Nigerians still await the return of abducted Chibok girls, and the final end of Boko Haram insurgent, police source has confirmed another abduction of 16 women and girls by suspected Boko Haram fighters in Adamawa State.
The abduction which took place on Wednesday in Sabongari Madalali in Madalali Local Government Area, was masterminded by the insurgents who are now being trailed by security operatives in the area.
The victims were said to have been kidnapped in the field while they went to fetch firewood. Others were abducted at the stream during fishing.
Meanwhile, two of the women escaped by pretending to have been drowned. Sight of the heavily armed bandits scared the escorts who had accompanied the women, local sources said.
Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, Othman Abubakar has assured the Command’s response to the attack. According to him, “the Police is working round the clock to track down the abducted women and girls.”

has repeatedly attacked the key infrastructure goals, reducing outputs”.
Therefore, insurgency affects the overall development of a nation,
and Nigeria as a state has been adversely affected by insurgency.

and they’ve several times in countering terrorism assisted other countries.
Thus, the Boko Haram insurgency Nigeria is presently faced
which has demonstrated to the international community that Nigeria is prone to
terrorism and terrorist attacks. Second, the revenue that should be used to perform
other substantial developments in the country will be used for the purchase of equipments, topnotch arms, weapons, machines and the likes that can aid the tackling
of the insurgency in the nation.
