AEDC To Disconnect Electricity To SGF House, 8 Federal Government Ministries, Defense HQ Over Outstanding Bills On Monday

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc, has issued notice of disconnection to all customers having outstanding electricity bills.

According to AEDC, the disconnection will commence on Monday 3rd June, 2024, even as it advised that timely payment is crucial to its continued operation.

Amongst electricity debtors to the AEDC includes, the National Stadium, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women affairs, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Works.

Others are, Nigerian Army Barracks, the Defence HQ, Nigerian Army, SGF House 1, National Planning Commission and Federal Airport Authority (FAAN) Abuja amongst others customers.

AEDC statement sent to NationalWire reads that; “This is to inform the general public that AEDC will disconnect all customers with outstanding electricity bills on June 3, 2024.

“Timely payment of electricity bills is crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC’s infrastructure, ensuring we can deliver efficient and reliable service to our community.

“We therefore urge all customers with debts to pay all outstanding bills before the deadline to avoid service interruption.
