Authorities of the Nigerian Navy on Friday warned Nigerians of the activities of some fraudsters that are collecting money from unsuspected and innocent Nigerians to purportedly help them to join the Nigerian Navy.
The Director of Information (DINFO), Nigerian Navy, Commodore Suleman Dahun in Abuja said that the force does not charge money for all its enlistment and recruitment processes and therefore, called on all and sundry to ignore such ploy to hoodwink them into an unholy payment.
Part of his statement read, “For avoidance of doubt, the Nigerian Navy is not charging any money for all its enlistment and recruitment processes.
“Furthermore, it has not delegated or directed anyone/organization to collect money on its behalf for any enlistment/recruitment exercises.
“Hence members of the public are hereby strongly warned to desist from patronizing those fraudsters who are all out to siphon money for their selfish agenda and self-aggrandizement,” Cdre Dahun reiterated.
