“Faith And Healing Should Go Together” – WHO Advises

The World Health Organization (WHO) has broken silence over a cameroonian medical doctor’s claim that he was cured of Coronavirus by Prophet TB Joshua during an online ministry on Emmanuel TV.

Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that “Faith and Healing go togther,” adding that religious leaders should be in the fight and saves lives against the Coronavirus pandemic.

While responding to the video where Dr Kamani Pierre, a gynacologist/obsteterician claimed he was healed by Prophet TB Joshua, Grebreyesus explained that “during HIV Aids, there were similar situation where people were advised to use between medicine and faith.

“I remember religious leaders telling their followers that the two can go together – have your faith and continue to take your medicine and that really resolve the situation. The two don’t contradict, they go together.”

On how he got his healing, the gynecologist claimed he had called in for a prayer where he was kept in an isolation centre in Cameroon during a telecast and got his healing.

Responding to a question by journalist Simon Ateba of Today’s News Africa, Washington DC, Dr Ghebreyesus during the interactive media session, said “We will call on all religious leaders to be in this fight and save lives.”
