Oyemekun axis of College Road, Ogba, Lagos has in recent time become a deadly spot.
Barely nine hours after a truck crushed a trader in her shop on College Road, Ogba, Lagos yesterday, another accident almost at the same spot on Monday night has claimed another life.
Residents of the area however put a call through to National Wire Tuesday morning to report the incidence.
“Sir, another accident involving a car has happened again almost at the same spot of yesterday’s account,” a resident, Mrs. Osibanjo called.
Stating further, Osibanjo said the lone accident involved four men in a car.
“According the report from neighbours awake at that time at about 11:45pm, the four guys in the car were returning from a club when the incidence happened.
“We learnt one of them was to travel abroad and they went to celebrate. Unfortunately on their way back, it happened and he died in the accident,” she said.
Meanwhile, residents of the area have called on the Lagos State government to build speed breakers along the Oyemekun Bus Stop where over five accidents have happened within one year.
