The Katsina Police Command has arrested a man for allegedly making love to a horse.
Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Usman Abdullahi, disclosed this yesterday in Katsina while briefing newsmen.
According to Abdullahi, the man was arrested in the night early in the week around Polo Ground in Katsina by a police patrol team.
“Our policemen on patrol went to the area and saw a motorcycle parked,” he said, adding that, “Our officers became suspicious, while searching the area, they cited the man behind a wall naked making love to a horse.”
The Police Commissioner added that, “It is unfortunate for a human being to make love to an animal.”
Continuing, he said, the police recently arrested four persons over alleged drug abuse and trafficking.
According to him, the suspects tried to bribe the police with N100,000, but the offer was rejected.
The suspects would be charged to court according to the Commissioner who urged parents, religious leaders and other stakeholders to intensify efforts toward inculcating moral values in their children and wards.
