64 suspects were on Wednesday paraded before newsmen for various offences by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.

He observed while parading the suspected criminals at the Police Officers’ Mess, Ikeja said that he would leave no stone unturned until he brings criminally minded individuals to book.

He used the opportunity to remind the Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers not to rest on their oars but ensure that police visibility is felt in every area in the state.

“Our men must ensure that as a point of duty, show commitment and dedication to duty on 24 hours basis ensuring that no area is left porous for criminals to operate.

“Those days in the 1990 to early 2020, you have no reason as a DPO to go to your house; because the moment you close you’ll be called back that criminals are operating in your area and you have to be there to restore peace.

“Our resolve is to ensure that Lagos is peaceful and thriving socially and economically boyant as a state.”
