The Coordinator of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation Women Mobilisation Committee, Ogun State Chapter, Hon. Princess Ronke Ogunremi has pledged that her group will continue spreading the good tidings of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar till victory is ascertained.
She made this known during a two day workshop put together to sensitise women on the need to whole heatedly pursue this ambition since according to it, it is the only way to get Nigeria working again.
Hon. Ogunremi encouraged all women and those from the 70 Atiku Support Groups across Ogun State that attended the meeting to follow the leadership trait of His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel who worked assiduously to win the Presidential ticket in Port-Harcourt for Atiku Abubakar.
Relating the approach to be adopted for the propagation of Atiku’s message to the public, Alhaja Ganiyat Abiola Busari (GAB) said the strategy to be adopted includes recruitment of Local government and ward canvassers, the former will be trained by Advocacy professionals, and they will train the ward canvassers.
While responding to the analysis of the proposed strategy, Mrs. Otunba Alademerin suggested that the canvassers should transcend the party line.
Also buttressing the same point, Mrs. Sola Adeyemi reiterated that community leaders and other notable people within the wards and Local Governments be recruited to make the work easier.
While lending her voice to the issue under focus, Otunba Mrs. Ronke Oduneye encouraged all and sundry to take the assignment as a serious one as it will create an avenue to complement the good works of Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
While rounding off the meeting, Hon. Princess Ronke Joseph-Ogunremi commended the efforts of the APCO women committee and encouraged them to work with the 70 groups newly inducted into the scheme.
