Vacate EFCC’s Office, Tinubu Orders DSS

Following reports by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) early on Tuesday that Department of State Security (DSS) Operatives had occupied its office along Awolowo Road, Ikoyi for undisclosed reasons, the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the DSS to quit the facility with immediate effect.

President Bola Tinubu’s directives was contained in a statement signed by Tunde Rahman, State House Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The President gave the directives when reports of DSS officials storming the EFCC office located on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday, preventing officials of the anti-graft agency from accessing their work place, was brought to his attention.

The President said if there were issues between the two important agencies of government, they would be resolved amicably.
