Topic: CRUSHING THE HORNS OF DESTRUCTION AND DEMOTION
Text: Zechariah 1:18–21, Psalm 75:10, Jeremiah 51:20–23

Listen carefully to this short message, which is a prayer message.
Zechariah 1:18–21 (KJV) says: “Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.”
There is a power:
– A very very wicked power that scattereth
– That pushes people’s heads down; it is a horn of demotion and scattering. As the Bible says “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head”.
– That disallows profitable gathering.
– That specialises in bringing people down to zero level.
– That eats up promotion with clinical accuracy.
– That puts good things asunder.
– That replaces elevation with demotion. It is a very wicked power, again. This power puts down the heads of many people who want to lift up their heads.
– That dismantles the upward march.
– That does not want enlargement of coast.
– That rejects expansion.
– That diminishes every effort to increase.
– That prevents positive unity.
– That scatters peace.
– That destroys the oil of breakthroughs.
– That cuts up heads that want to rise.
– That is an expert in destiny evaporation.
– That is bent on bringing down anybody known as a high flyer.
These powers:
– Are powerful.
– Are forceful.
– Are enormous.
– Scare away even potential helpers.
– Prepare darkness that is so difficult to penetrate.
– Contend with people’s angels of blessings.
– Confront helper angels. The scripture says: “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head”.
🔥 I decree upon somebody here tonight that every wicked hand pushing down your head shall catch fire! in the name of Jesus.
I was dragged to one hospital many years ago. To tell you the honest truth, what took me to that hospital was poverty, because some people came to borrow money from me to perform a Caesarean operation to remove a baby from the womb, and I did not have the money. They were looking at me strangely. When they were about to go away, they felt bad that I had the money but did not want to give it to them. This was many years ago, before MFM started.
So I said, “Hold on a minute; suppose we pray for her?” They said “We are asking for money; you are talking of prayer”. I said, “But I have no money to give you, and you said she has been labouring for 4 days. So can I follow you to the hospital?” They said “yes”, so we went. I got there and found the woman in great agony and pain. So I said “I have no money to give, but I can pray”. The hospital said that they could not operate without payment. So I asked if I could withdraw her from the hospital. They said “Yes, but sign this paper stating that you withdrew this woman, contrary to medical advice”.
I signed, and she followed me. I brought her to church, and we started praying. I pray that God will bring back those glorious days again.
The present-day Christians are so weak when it comes to spiritual fire. Many present-day Christians need to go and break even an ordinary covenant with malaria. Many have formed covenants with it, and it keeps attacking them. And that is the truth. If you do not know what to do, just catch one mosquito and talk to it and say, “You mosquito, hear the Word of the Lord. When you are biting people and giving them malaria, tell your colleagues that they should never bite me. Do you understand?” And then let the mosquito go and tell the others.
You see, some of you cannot believe what I am saying; you find it very strange. But that is the truth. So we withdrew that woman to the church, and prayers started. But I noticed that a woman followed us. We kept praying, and this woman was turning her white eye outside. I said, “Ah, what kind of Wahala is this one? They will say I withdrew her.” In fact, my prayer was the loudest there. All of a sudden, I saw a black hand on the head of the woman in labour, and I looked behind me and saw the woman that followed us there.
I asked, “Who is this woman?” The woman in labour said “That is my mother-in-law”. I turned to the woman and said, “Mama, go home right now!” She said, “But it is prayer now. I can also join”. I said “No. Leave us with the prayer”. Five minutes after she left, the woman delivered right inside the church. When an invisible hand is laid upon a person’s head and presses him down, that is what the Bible calls “horns”.
🔥 I decree upon somebody here that the horn assigned to press down your head shall backfire! in the name of Jesus.
There is a power that argues with deliverance ministers. When you tell them to leave them alone or get out of them, they say “No! I am not going”. They threaten would-be helpers. They threaten deliverers. They are senior serpents and senior scorpions. The Bible talks about serpents and scorpions, but these are senior serpents and senior scorpions. These are Goliath-like and Pharaoh-like forces. These are forces that scare away small prophets. They are aggressive strongmen.
What do you make of that fellow who got married in 1995 and, anytime he and the wife were in the room together and they moved close to each other, somebody would give him a serious beating until he separated himself from her? And they would not see who was beating him. So if just sitting close to her was bringing him beatings, of course he would not try to sleep with the woman because they would just kill him there. That is what brought them here. Sometimes, when some people think they have problems and then listen to other people’s problems, they realise that they really do not have problems.
A very beautiful couple, but you could see the signs of beating on his face. So I anointed them. Then I asked them to pray the first prayer. After that, I sent them to one guest house. There, they gave him only one slap, and they stopped. Then he came back and said “Sir, they slapped me just once, but I can cope with that”. What kind of forces are those? They are the horns.
The horns:
– are formidable in nature.
– Create intense fear in people.
– Are extremely bad. The Bible said “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head”.
– Are severe and fierce in action.
– Are horrible, violent, and terrifying.
What is a horn?
– It is physically just a bony growth protruding from the head of an animal like cattle, sheep, goats, or antelopes.
– A natural weapon on the heads of animals.
– In the Bible, they can sometimes be used for holding oil or as musical instruments. In fact, the Bible says that there are four horns placed at the altar, and anyone who runs and takes hold of any of them cannot be killed.
– In Psalm 75:10, we see this: “All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.” Horns represent the power of the wicked.
– Most importantly, they are emblems of power, glory, dominion, and fierceness and are the chief means of attack by the animals that have them.
The Bible says that there are four horns. Four speaks of universality; it means they are everywhere, talking about the four corners of the earth. Those horns speak of aggressive, pushy, and destructive powers.
Once the horns are after you,
– those who pray with you are scared away.
– Former friends will become aggressors.
– Anytime you pray some serious kinds of prayers, they give you the worst attacks.
– the enemy will bring fearful and life threatening medical conditions.
– Your helpers come under attacks.
– The person will keep having horrible dreams.
– There will be aggressive and terrible spirit husbands and wives.
– The person may be going from one accident to another, and if that is not arrested, the person will begin to see dead relatives.
– some actually begin to see ghosts.
– Some will be experiencing chains of bad luck.
– Some will be hearing strange voices.
– The person will be dreaming and forgetting the dream so that he cannot go back to it.
But then, thank God, in the same Zechariah, we find a solution. We are getting ready to start praying now because this is a prayer message, not a preaching message.
In Zechariah 1:19-21, we see this: “And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.”
Who are the carpenters to fray the horns? Who are the carpenters to cast out the horns? They are:
– God’s elect
– The Holy Ones of God
– God’s watchmen.
– God’s ministers.
– God’s preachers and prophets.
– The saints.
– The born-again Christians who live holy lives.
The reason the Bible gave them that name is because they have delicate work to do. Beloveth, you do not joke with horns at all. The Bible said “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head”. No one could go with an erect structure, and through oppression, sorrow, and misery, it had bent people down. “….but these are come to fray them….”
To fray means:
– To cause the oppressor to shudder, quake, or tremble with terror.
– To destroy them after putting fear in their hearts.
Tonight, we need to wage war against these kinds of powers. No matter in what form they are appearing, whether as vampire spirits, cannibal spirits, witchcraft powers, familiar spirits, occultic powers, spirits of death and hell, vagabond spirits, forest spirits, strongmen, or spirits of infirmity, no matter whatever form they appear in, you will become the carpenter tonight to fray them. Whether they appear as demon idols or as Ancestral demons, you need the carpenter of the Almighty to fray them.
There is only one condition: You must be God’s elect, God’s saint, who hates sin with perfect hatred and who loves holiness. Then you are qualified to become the battle axe of the Almighty.
In Jeremiah 51:20–23 (KJV), we see this:
“Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.”
This is what the Bible would want you to be tonight. As many people as want to become that battle axe tonight, let them get ready.
PRAYER POINTS.
[Before Message]
1. Power of witches and wizards, flying against me, die! in the name of Jesus.
2. Every chain, fashioned against my breakthrough, break! in the name of Jesus.
[After Message]
1. Dark horns of my father’s house, dark horns of my mother’s house, die! in the name of Jesus.
2. Evil horns, assigned to scatter my life, you are liars; die! in the name of Jesus.
3. Evil horn, boasting against my breakthrough, be scattered! in the name of Jesus.
4. Carpenters of God, arise and kill every horn assigned against me! in the name of Jesus.
5. Horns that do not want me to lift up my head, I bury you now! in the name of Jesus.
6. Everything stolen from my life by the horns of darkness, I repossess you by fire! in the name of Jesus.
7. Powers that handed me over to the strongman, you are liars; die! in the name of Jesus.
8. O God, arise, and let my enemies be scattered! in the name of Jesus.
