Supreme Court Sacks Imo gov Ihedioha as hope comes alive for Uzodinma

The Supreme court in a unanimous decision on Tuesday in Abuja has annulled the election that brought in Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor of Imo State.

The seven-member panel of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Tanko Muhammad gave the unanimous decision declaring candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the 9th March governorship election.

Meanwhile there has been jubilation across Imo State in the camp of the APC as the ruling is coming in the favour of the party.

Implication of the Supreme Court’s decision would be grave in the state as there may be several changes that would be effected in the favour of the new leadership.
