Sunshine Stars in away win against ABS as NPL week 28 ends

Week 28 of the Nigerian Professional has ended with most matches ending in home wins.

The match between ABS and Sunshine Stars produced the highest number of goals and the only away win with the visitors running away with four goals of the total six.

Rangers were forced to a one all draw by their visiting 3SC.

The encounter between Enyimba and Tonadoes ended 3 nil with the the people’s elephants snatching all three points on in Calabar on Sunday.

The opening goal for Enyinba came through Bartholomew Ibenegbu who converted a free kick to produce the lead.

Chinonso Okonkwo made it double for Enyimba in the 64th minute before Stanley Dimgba put the icing on the cake for Enyimba with a late strike to end the tie 3-0.

In Jos, Plateau United continue to put up an impressive performance by thrashing Akwa United by a 3-0 score line.

Emmanuel James, Emeka Umeh and Kabiru Umar were Plateau’s scorers on Sunday.

Godwin Aguda had put Rangers in front before Abu Azeez got his first goal of the season to help Shooting Stars level.

Elsewhere, goals by Usman Ahmed and Chinedu Onyelonu saw Wikki Tourist beat Kano Pillars 2-0.
