Senator Ibrahim Gaidam Express Shock At Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu’s Demise

The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam has expressed shock at the passage of former Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.

It will be recall that the news of the death of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, filtered in at the early hours of Thursday, just as many Nigerians have continued to mourn his pain exit.

In a statement made available to national Wire, the police affairs minister said he was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Onu, noting that his contributions to the country as a politician, author, and engineer will always be remembered.

“Dr. Onu’s legacy as the first civilian governor of Abia State and his service as the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation have left a lasting impact on the nation.

“His dedication to advancing science and technology in Nigeria has inspired many and his loss will be felt by all who knew him.

“My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Onu’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of his remarkable life and may his soul rest in peace”, he added.
