Saraki Not Political Orphan, North Central Youths Warn Oshomohle, Tinubu

The Coalition of North Central youths has warned the National Chairman  of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomole and national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stop forthwith the unwarranted attacks on the person of the Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki or face the wrath of the coalition.

The coalition stated this yesterday in a press statement issued in Minna the capital city of Niger State and  jointly signed by its Chairman, Mohammed Usman and Secretary Thomas Bulus Daniel

The group noted with dismay the unending personal attack on the person of the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki over his decision to switch political party from the APC to the PDP, insisting that youths from the North Central geopolitical zone have resolved to tackle headlong  Oshomohle and Tinubu if they do not desist from their antics.

“This primitive attack which are borne out of hatred and sheer ignorance has continued unabated, both from Adams Oshiomhole and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu both of the APC. We wish to warn the duo that henceforth any attack on Senator Bukola Saraki is an attack on the people of the North Central geopolitical region of Nigeria, from where Senator Saraki proudly hails from”, the group stated .

They cautioned Oshiomhole and Tinubu that the silence over their undue assault on the person of the Senate President does not in any way connote weakness, saying that “we respect them as leaders in their various zones and will want a similar respect for our leaders in return.

“And to put the message straight, Saraki is not a political orphan and any attempt at attacking him is an attack on the north central and we shall resist it with all our strength within the confines of the law”.

The coalition however  condemned the calculated effort  to snatch away the Senate Presidency from the north central to another region and wondered the essence of the haste in calculative attempt at removing Saraki.

According to the group, “the Senate President  is an exclusive preserve of the Senators to choose from amongst themselves, and we do know for a fact that neither  Oshiomole nor Tinubu are members of the Senate. We recall when Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, the incumbent Governor of Sokoto State as the then Speaker jumped ship to the APC, in the 7th Assembly, no party chairman or leader attacked him not to talk of his impeachment”.
