The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the inaugural National Cybersecurity Conference (NCSC 2025), scheduled to take place from July 9th to 10th, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria.
The conference is themed “Securing Nigeria’s Digital Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and Resilience.”
Addressing stakeholders at the briefing, NITDA’s Director-General emphasized the growing importance of cybersecurity as Nigeria transforms into a digitally driven economy, highlighting the need to address emerging threats and build digital resilience.
The conference aims to provide a premier platform for strategic engagement, knowledge-sharing, and partnership-building among stakeholders.
Key features of the conference include live technical sessions, workshops, product exhibitions, keynotes, and panel discussions with global cybersecurity experts. A Capture the Flag (CTF) hackathon will also be held to engage and empower young Nigerian talent.
The conference seeks to strengthen Nigeria’s cyber resilience, promote cybersecurity innovation and workforce development, and foster inter-agency and multi-sectoral coordination.
NITDA has extended an invitation to all stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector players, academia, civil society, and the media, to participate in shaping a more secure digital Nigeria.
