Former senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial district, Inatimi Rufus-Spiff says the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has done better than all previous administrations of the state.

Spiff made this assertion Saturday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital during a chat with newsmen shortly after a closed door caucus meeting of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP), Brass Local Government Area of the State under the aegis of Restoration caucus.

The erstwhile senator maintained that the numerous infrastructural projects executed by the Governor Dickson’s restoration administration show the magnitude of his commitment towards fast tracking development of the state.

Meanwhile, against the backdrop of  recent violence which rocked the Brass Local Government area, information reaching our sources has it that the Brass restoration caucus meeting may not be unconnected to finding lasting solutions to the causes of the problems which happened there.

While all attempts at speaking with the chairman of the Brass restoration caucus, Bishop Beinmo Rufus-spiff proved abortive an insider who pleaded for anonymity informed our sources that highpoints of the meeting included plans for peaceful elections in the area come 2019 and beyond, the security of lifes and properties as well as a harmonious living and continuous support for the Governor Dickson led administration, amongst others.

Political stalwarts who attended the meeting included the deputy speaker of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly, Hon Abraham Ngobere, former Deputy Speaker of the state Assembly, Sam Ateki, commissioners and all present and former elected and appointive office holders from the local government.
