A para-ministry outfit, the Revival Promotion Partners (RPP) is set to stage two events in one in Lagos.
The group has concluded all arrangements to hold the Ministers’ Conference by 9am and Restoration Seminar by noon on Saturday 2nd September at the Jevinik Place, 21, Isaac John Street, GRA., Ikeja, Lagos.
Theme of the event is ‘Higher Ground’ and Serving Overseer of the First Love Assembly, Pastor Simeon Afolabi is billed to teach along with other ministers of the gospel.
The RPP is a non-denominational outfit and a support group for the ministry of Pastor Simeon Afolabi.
The group in the past had staged several Conferences for Ministers of the Gospel which had attracted ministers from various denominations from Lagos and environs.
With national headquarters in Port Harcourt, River State, the First Love Assembly has established branches across Nigeria while Pastor Afolabi, the Serving Overseer presides over the three-year-old Lagos Assembly.
With great passion to teach the living word of God, Afolabi is well sought after to bring the word to assemblies of believers in Nigeria and beyond.
According to the ministry’s website www.firstloveassembly.org, the ministry has the mission ‘To lead sinners to the way of salvation and saints to the knowledge of apostolic values and Christian standards.’
The ministry also focuses on revival and restoration of individual life, the Church, the nation and the redemption of the continent of Africa. Anchor scriptures of the ministry are:
“Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” Jude 3 (NKJV).
“But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivered; for a spoil, and none said, Restore.” Isaiah 42:22 (KJV).
