Redouble Your Efforts In The Fight Against Insecurity – ACG Olakunle Charges Promoted Officers

The Assistant Comptroller General (ACG), Zone A, Olakunle Gabriel Osisanya has charge newly promoted personnel to redouble their efforts and support the federal government to overcome the current upsurge of insecurity in the country.

He gave the admonition on Thursday while decorating some personnel of the 298 officers recently promoted in the Zone A Command comprising Lagos and Ogun State.

The event was held at the Immigration Zonal Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos State, attracted dignitaries and top officers from sister security agencies including the Nigerian Correctional Services, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Federal Fire Services all participated during unveiling of the new ranks.

Speaking further, the ACG noted that the 21st century is a knowledge-based information technology era, and urged officers and men to acquire more knowledge that would be relevant to the modern day migration management.

“The service will continue to provide an enabling environment for officers to prove themselves through training capacity building and to reward as well as recognize hard work,” ACG Olakunle reemphasized.
