Information reaching National Wire Source from the Bayelsa State seat of power, Creek Haven, Yenagoa has it that the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, will commence his annual leave from today, Monday, November 25, 2024.
National Wire further confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Daniel Alabrah.
The governor’s image maker noted that during the period of the governor’s absence, the state Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, will take charge of all state functions.
It would be recalled that months ago, Governor Diri’s Deputy had also gone on his annual leave.
