Police Awardees Embody Highest Ideals Of Policing – Senator Gaidam

The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has praised the Nigeria Police Force awardees for their dedication, which he said sets a standard for others to emulate.

He made the remarks during the 2nd Nigeria Police Awards and Commendation ceremony held at the Police Resource Centre in Abuja.

Gaidam noted that the awardees’ actions embody the highest ideals of policing, including protecting lives, upholding justice, and maintaining peace.

He commended their commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens and strengthening the foundations of democracy.

The Minister reaffirmed the collective commitment to transforming the Nigeria Police Force into a model of excellence and integrity.

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership and commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for his exemplary leadership in organizing the ceremony.

The Inspector General of Police stated that the award process was a rigorous and transparent endeavor to institutionalize merit within the force.

He congratulated the award recipients, urging them to carry the honor with humility and determination to do more.
