PDP Appoints Adebayo As New Auditor General In Ondo State

The Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria has appointed Chief Abiodun Adebayo, popularly known as “Abbey Shoprite” on Monday March, 23rd, 2020 as the new Auditor General.
Chief Abiodun Adebayo on his appointment said that he was in shock when he heard of the news of his appointment by the People’s Democratic Party in the State. “The news is just so shocking to me when I heard of the appointment”.
Abiodun Adebayo was overwhelmed when he went to check his name pasted on a chair. He said he has never as a member fought for any position at all even be it Local Government Chairmanship, except in 2019 when he he had an ambition to contest, he was advised to step down as state house of Assembly member aspirant for another candidate which he did. “In fact I am overwhelmed when I saw my name pasted on the Chair. I never fought for any post, talk less of fighting for the Local Government”.
The PDP Auditor General said he his delighted over his appointment and promised to use his good office to work for the progress of PDP in general in the State. “I am delighted, I am going to use my good office to work for the progress of party”.
Adebayo said in his own opinion that he is can ascertain to any one that PDP is back and better in the State.
“Infact I can categorically confirm to you that PDP is back and better”.
