Orji Uzor Kalu Sentenced To 12 years In Prison For Fraud

Former Abia state governor Orji Uzor Kalu has been convicted and sentenced to 12 years in Prison for fraud by a Lagos High Court.

Justice Mohammed Idris ordered the winding up of Kalu’s company, Slok Nigeria Limited.

The serving Senator was charged by the federal government for theft, fraud of over N7.1 Billion naira.

Uzor Orji Kalu was also accused of receiving a total of N460 Million allegedly stolen from the Abia state government treasury between July and December 2002.
