One killed At General Paint Bus Stop In Cult Clash

It was a dark Saturday evening at the General Paint bus stop along Ajah-Epe expressway as a cult group shot dead a rival cult group identified as Boss.

It was not immediately known which particular cult suffered lose. However, General Paint bus stop cum Bowler is less than a kilometer drive from the popular Abraham Adesanya estate, and is notorious for sundry clashes between Aiye and Aye confraternities.

The Boss, it was gathered was killed when a car stopped in his front where he sat and pulled out a gun and rained several bullets to his chest about 6pm on Saturday.

Boss, it was further disclosed is one of the strong Area boys domicile at the General Paint where they engage in wanton exploitation of motorists conveying goods to Lekki Garden Estate and other adjoining estates and motorbike riders.

Residents within that axis are always at the mercy of these notorious cult groups, often times blocking their road leading to the estate.

A resident who spoke anonymously called on the police authority to assist them at checking the buffoonery of the criminals who lurk around General Paint bus stop as Area boys and Agberos.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that some of the estate are putting up interim measures to check cult malfeasance with a view to avoiding reprisals attacks on motorists and residents that plies the road.

One of the estate that swiftly sent out a warning message to its residents indicated, “All residents are hereby implored to return home early as it may be dangerous to ply the General Paint Bus Stop at night because of possible retaliation, and if possible, take alternative routes to the Estate while we find a solution to this unfortunate incident.”

It would be recalled that 2018 at the General Paint, about five people were killed in similar circumstances and one of the victims had his head severed and tied to an electric pole.

Also last year at Bowler, a midnight cult clash led to the killing of three persons.
