OGUN POLICE ARREST THREE FOR ROBBERY

The Ogun State police command has arrested three men for robbery. They are Suleiman Waheed, Mathew Johnson and Isiaka Momoh. They were arrested during the early hours of 27 December while trying to rob one Bello Ibrahim of his motorcycle with registration number GBE 159VZ along Ijebu Ode -Ibadan road.

The policemen attached to Awa Ijebu division on routine patrol raced to the scene upon information and three suspects were apprehended.

Investigation revealed that the culprits have been terrorising the area for quite some time.

The commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigations.

He also warned law offenders to stay away from the state because crime and criminality will not be tolerated in Ogun State. He added that  the command will not leave any stone unturned in order to rid the state of crime and criminality.
