Ogun Police arrest rapists

Men of Ogun State Police Command has arrested two men; Ezekiel Yusuf, aged 29 years and Musa Abubakar aged 25 years for forcefully having canal knowledge of a 23 years old girl (name withheld).

The victim was hawking sliced Pawpaw along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway when the duo lured her into Yusuf Ezekiel’s apartment under the pretence that they wanedt to buy pawpaw from her and forcefully had canal knowledge. It was while she was shouting that the people around came to her rescue and subsequently reported to the Police and the DPO Ojodu Abiodun, SP Bamidele Job quickly dispatched detectives to the scene and the two suspects were promptly arrested.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu has directed that the case be transferred to Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
