The former pioneer Chairman, Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Assistant Inspector General of Police (retd), Nuhu Ribadu has been appointed as the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Security.
The appointment announced on Thursday by the Director Information, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, said that all appointments are with immediate effect.
With vast experience in security as a retired police officer and a long spell in the prosecution of financial criminals, Ribadu, undoubtedly, will bring his experience to bear in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Also appointed as Special Advisers to the President are: Dele Alake who occupies the post of Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy; Mr Yau Darazo Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mr Wale Edun, Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; Mrs. Olu Verheijen Special Adviser, Energy; Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji Special Adviser, Revenue.
Others are John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment; and Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.
