What would have led to a black Xmas Eve was averted as electricity power line that collapsed early today at Iyana-Odo axis around LASU – Isheri road, in the Alimosho LGA, in Lagos State, was promptly arrested as men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps moves in to manage the disaster.
Before the fire could escalate and destroy lives and property within the environment, the operatives led by its Commandant, Commandant Eweka Douglas Okoro, at 01:00hrs am, on Friday, 24th December, 2021 upon receiving intelligence moved in any stopped the serious raging fire.
Speaking through the Command’s spokesperson, ASCI Abolurin Oluwaseun said “adequate investigation would be instituted immediately to ascertain the actual cause of the fire.
The Commandant advised that the people within the environment to keep vigilance and remain alert during the yuletide season, in order to avoid such incidences of fire explosion, especially in this season.
