Niger Acting Governor, Ketso Charges Christians To Emulate Exemplary Life Of Jesus Christ As They Celebrate Christmas And New Year

Niger State Acting Governor, Alhaji  Ahmed Mohammed Ketso has called on Christians to emulate the virtuous life of tolerance, love, sacrifice  and forgiveness as preached and practiced by Jesus Christ as they joined their counterparts all over the world on Sunday to celebrate this year’s Christmas celebration
The Acting Governor, stated this in a Press statement signed and made available to newsmen  on Sunady, by his Press Secretary, Hajiya Maimuna Kolo  in Minna the state capital ,  while wishing  christians not only in the state but in Nigeria in general a memorable Christmas celebration.
He however seized the opportunity to   appeal to every citizens residents in the  state  for continued peacefully coexistence among them irrespective of  religious beliefs and ethnic background, just as he urged  for   more prayers and support for the Abubakar Sani Bello- led All Progressives Congress dministration in the state .
Ahmed Mohammed Ketso  added further  that the political contract between the government and the people remain firm and realisable.
Speaking further on  the forthcoming new year celebration in the state, the Acting Governor  also appealed to entire Nigerlites to reflect over the outgoing year  with the aim of curbing the mistakes of the past.
He urged critics of the government  to  always remember to bring about   meaningful contributions, suggestions capable of moving the state and the country forward as well as engaging  in concrete criticisms of the incumbent ruling party, the  APC, with the view to  move the state and the country forward in all spheres of life .
 He said that  the present APC-led  administration both at the Centre and in the state, guarantees the protection of lives and properties of all the  residents  in the state, while  praying for a blissful Christmas and new year  celebrations, in  good health, prosperity  and long life for  all.
