NCPC BOSS RECEIVES IVORY COAST TRADE DELEGATION

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Tor Uja, recently received in audience delegation from Ivory Coast Ministry of Trade who were in the Commission on a courtesy visit.

Rev. Uja commended the people and government of Ivory Coast for the youth revolution in the West African country.

According to him, “any nation that has been able to empower its youth is a nation that is on the path of development.” He urged the government of Ivory Coast to continue to invest on their young people.

Rev. Uja informed his guests that the Commission sent a high powered delegation to Ivory Coast this year to explore some of the Christian Holy Sites in the country.

He assured the delegation that he would send another delegation to Ivory Coast next year to further assess the Holy Sites and come out with workable recommendations.

He equally assured the delegation that he would honour their invitation to attend the forth coming international trade fair holding in Abidjan in March next year.

He stressed that Nigerians believe in inter-African relationship and as such would continue to strengthen relations between the two countries.

In her remark, the leader of the delegation, Miss Alla Sambo who represented the Ivorian Minister of Trade stated that they were in NCPC to inform the NCPC boss of the third edition of the international Trade Fair coming up in Abidjan in March 2017.

According to her, “the Fair is not only commercial but touristic”. He explained that the Fair would afford the Executive Secretary the opportunity to visit Christian Holy Sites in Abidjan.

She further disclosed that Nigeria has been chosen to serve as the special guest of honour thus there is need for the NCPC boss to grace the occasion with other dignitaries from Nigeria.
