### Motivated Workforce Key to Success, Says Irepodun LGA Chairman, Abdulazeez Yakubu Tinuola
The newly elected Chairman of Irepodun Local Government Area in Kwara State, Hon. Abdulazeez Yakubu, has underscored the importance of a motivated workforce for the success of his administration. He made this statement during an assessment tour of the Local Government Secretariat, aimed at evaluating the current state of affairs.
Today’s tour marked the Chairman’s first step in addressing the challenges faced by council staff and creating a more conducive working environment. Tinuola believes that this initiative will lay the foundation for a productive administration.
During the tour, the Chairman visited several departments, facilities, and ongoing projects across the local government area. He took time to interact with staff members, emphasizing that such on-the-ground assessments provide a clearer picture of the pressing issues that are often missed in official reports.
“We are committed to improving the working conditions of our staff because we understand that a motivated workforce is crucial to the success of our administration,” he said.
He further noted, “This tour is not just for show; it’s about understanding what our staff need to perform optimally and provide the level of service our community expects.”
Following the tour, the Chairman plans to implement strategic measures to address infrastructural gaps, enhance staff welfare, and boost productivity throughout the local government area.
Tinuola’s proactive approach reflects his administration’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents.
Elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform in the September 21st local government election, Tinuola will lead the council for the next three years.
