Sub-clan monarch of the Epie kingdom of Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, HRH Solomon Bokolo has described his late wife, Mrs Flora Bokolo(nee Vure) as a rare gift from God to him.
The monarch stated this recently at the obsequious ceremonies of the late queen at Agudama-Epie community, Yenagoa, the state capital.
The royal father who described his late wife as very loyal and faithful, noted that she was also very industrious and kind hearted.
He said: “She was kindhearted to all persons she was in contact with during her life time. My late wife was a mother indeed to my children and relatives”.
Also speaking the duo of first son of the deceased, Dr Giame Bokolo, last son, Mr Onizibe Bokolo said their mother was a disciplinarian and action driven woman.
They noted that their siblings were not left out in her magnanimous approach to life.
The children said: “Our mother was generous to her relations and outsiders, mostly in the garden city of Port Harcourt in the ’70s’.
“She received every aAgudama-Epie indigen who came to visit us in search of greener pastures”.
On her part, Ms Precious Bokolo, the only daughter of the deceased said her late mother was also her friend, saying she it would be hard for her to forget the close bond she shared with her mother.
She said: “She gave moral advice to my siblings. My mother was very supportive to our father, she laboured so hard to support our dad in terms of our educational pursuit and life in general”.
