Minister of Police Affairs Condoles Kano State Over Loss of Promising Athletes

The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator (Dr.) Ibrahim Gaidam, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kano State, as well as the entire Nigerian nation, following the tragic death of promising athletes from Kano State in a road accident.

The athletes were returning from the recently concluded National Sports Festival in Ogun State when the accident occurred.

In a statement, Senator Gaidam described the event as “heartbreaking” and said the Ministry and the entire Police ecosystem share in the profound moment of sorrow with the families, friends, and the people of Kano State.

He extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and all citizens of Kano and Nigeria at large.

The Minister acknowledged the invaluable contributions the young athletes made to the sporting community and the nation’s pride, noting that their dedication and efforts will be forever remembered.

He prayed for the swift recovery of those injured and for Allah’s mercy to be upon all who lost their lives.

Senator Gaidam concluded by praying that the departed souls find eternal peace and that Allah grants comfort and strength to their families during this difficult time.

He wished the bereaved families Jannatul Firdaus and patience and solace in their time of mourning.
