MASTURBATION IS SIN
We all know that the word “masturbatiom” is not found in the bible. But what goes on in the mind of those who practice it and what they are aiming at are what makes it sinful. To throw more light into this; Jesus said in the book of Matthew 5:28 “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
Now, from this scripture we can summarily conclude that lustful fantasy is as much as a sin as adultery or fornication. We cannot argue with Jesus over this, or can we? If any one of us does, then something terribly is wrong with that person. The same spirit of lust works on a man or a woman who yields his/her mind for sexual pleasures to commit masturbation (playing with him or her self). If a man lust after a woman, and he is judged by Jesus that he has committed sin (adultery/fornication), when he hasn’t done it physically yet; then it is a sin for a man or a woman to have lustful fantasy in his or her mind while visualising the picture of having it done with the opposite sex (thoughts). You cannot commit masturbation without visualising the sexual acts with the opposite sex. It could start from 1). Viewing a pornographic picture, or the picture of a beautiful lady; 2). Vedeos in which sexual acts were done; 3). Thoughts of how one had sexual intercourse with someone in time past; 4). Seeing a sexual dildo or electric penis vibrator or candle, etc. I was delivered from this dirty act of masturbation immediately after I gave my life to Christ in 1981, just through the love and fear of God.
Conclusively, let us look at these biblical arrangements (mathematics): (A). Lust (disordered passion in one’s mind) toward an opposite sex = fornication/adultery (Mtt 5:28). (B). Lust (disordered passion in one’s thoughts to have sex with himself or herself while visualising the sexual parts of the opposite sex =masturbation= fornication/sexual immorality (Rom. 1:21-29; Mtt 5:28). Whatever defiles the heart (mind) is sin-Mtt. 15:19; 1 Cor. 3:17. (See part 3)
