Lagos Police Arrests 8 During Initiation Into ‘One Million Boys’ Cult Group

Acting on credible Intelligence on Thursday August 15, 2019, the men of the Nigerian Police under the name of Operation Crush from Ilemba Hausa Police Station led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Kazeem Abonde, arrested eight (8) suspected members of one million boys confraternity during an initiation exercise.

The suspects were arrested at No.15 Alado street, shibiri where they are being initiated into the cult group by a 20 years old Yusuf Abu.

Those arrested along with him include Sunday Gabriel, aged 20, Rilwan Dauda,aged 18, Mohammed Sikiru, aged 23, Oladimeji Abayomi, aged 18, Rasheed Alabi, and Habeeb Idowu, aged 18.

Also arrested are two females; Olaiya Bisola, aged 18, Hazzan Hawawu,aged 19. They were all residents in shibiri area of the state.

Amongst the weapons recovered from them and displayed are three sharp cutlasses, a fetish calabash with dangerous Juju and weeds suspected to be indian hemp.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana said the suspects have all been charged to court and they are already remanded in prison custody.
